Bio: Gemstone was born in Manehatten with the silver spoon in her mouth. Her parents were successful salesponies of fine gems and jewelry at their shop called "Fine Jewelry with finer Gems". Her mom Ruby worked in the shop were she sold and made the jewelry while her dad worked in different mines across Equestria in search of rarer and more expensive types gems to sell. Because her parents were busy with the shop, the housekeeper, Marylin, was the one in charge of caring for Gem through out her foalhood. When Gem turned 21, she earned her cutie mark when she found the most rare and priceless gem known to ponykind, the fire ruby. She then continued on, owning her own shop and becoming a successful salespony herself with her apprentice, Quartz by her side.
